For those people who are unsure, a bucket list is something that you have either mentally stored or written down of the places or things you want to before your life ends. It may sound a little morbid, but it is a great way to ensure that you get the most out of the one life that we have. However, some people’s buckets lists can be rather scarce or filled with similar locations that aren’t very inspiring. I thought I would share with you some of the vacation locations you might want to add to your very own bucket list.
Dubai is an exotic and mesmerizing place to visit. Part of the United Arab Emirates you won’t be disappointed by the lavish hotels, the never-ending malls and the flamboyant lifestyle that this location can offer. There are also plenty of activities you can do during your stay. Think boat cruises, road tours in luxury cars or even seeing the majestic building from the air. You will be positively spoilt for choice on how to spend your time here, making it one location not to avoid.
Known for their tropical beaches, breathtaking royal palaces and historical ancient ruins and temples, Thailand really can be an adventure of a lifetime. So many people choose this area as part of their traveling itinerary when taking a gap year from university and you will be able to see why. It is extremely good value for money while you are there, lot’s of fun things to do, but if you want pure relaxation, then you can’t go far wrong with this destination. Definitely one for the list.
Australia is such a vast country that it will literally take you four hours to get one side of the country to the other and that is by plane. It’s huge, which means there is plenty to see and do. Australia has many iconic attractions that tend to make a bucket list in their own right. Think about the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Great Barrier Reef, to name a few. But there are also lesser publicized attractions that are still mind-blowing such as Ayers Rock or driving the Great Ocean Road. Australia definitely should be a place you visit at least once in your lifetime.
Are you a fan of the Lord Of The Rings or Hobbit films? Then New Zealand is definitely a place to visit as you could find yourself sat and looking round Hobbiton itself. But even if you don’t like the films New Zealand is a place like no other. Green and mountainous with glorious views and amazing sights to behold, it really is a fantastic place to go.
Finally, the last spot I would recommend adding to a bucket list would be Hawaii. The islands are renowned for their rugged and volcanic landscape, and white sandy beaches. It certainly could feel like heading to an isolated place, even though it is still an American state. Definitely, one to consider.
