I’ve wanted to sign up all month but I’m full of excuses HOWEVER signed up TODAY! I’m excited and decided I need to do something for ME!!!! I’m in my forties (no I’m not going to pinpoint the age) and it’s about time I get healthy. I’ve been over weight my whole life and I’ve tried diets and more diets. Nothing works because I don’t allow them to work. I’ve started diet/exercise plans for everyone but myself. I guess that means I’m OK with myself- not really it just me being lazy and sabotaging my success. I did tell you I’m full of excuses. I’m taking a different approach to this challenge. No stress and have fun. Let’s get started #RealisticResolution challenge.
Eating is my downfall…why because I hate anything healthy. My kids like more vegetables than I do, I know sad! I don’t like cook veggies except corn and beans. I shake my own head at myself! I have the opportunity to change my eating habits so I going to TRY! My kids dislike FISH but I absolutely love it. I know chocolate and chips are my triggers so need to find other choices. See I’ve put some thought into this challenge.
My list of #RealisticResolution
- Eat more raw veggies- more salads
- Eat more Fish
- Try other snacks besides chips and chocolate
Today I signed into 30-Day Realistic Resolution Challenge on SparkPeople.com and I made a page for my weight loss journey. It was super easy to sign up. I have a SparkPeople cookbook plus a Boot Camp DVD.
With Sparkpeople I will be able to~

Review: About a month ago Gorton’s sent me a box FULL of goodies- which by the way stay tune because one of my readers will be able to WIN the same box. I received coupons to try the Grilled Fish or Simply Bake products. Last week I went to Target and bought a couple of boxes of the Simply Baked Tilapia- OMG no fuss no mess and so awesome in taste. My daughter actually tried this fish and said she will eat more if I buy this kind. I also loved how easy this was to cook…put the whole darn bag on a baking sheet the bake in oven. It was soft tasty and not “fishy” at all. I used this RECIPE- Simply Bake Tilapia with Roasted Vegetables YUM!!
What I love about Gorton’s Seafood:
- Low Fat
- Grilled Fillets are gluten free and 100 calories or less
- There are 11 gluten-free varieties
- Entire line is no artificial flavors and MSG
- Easy to make
