When the bell goes for going back to college, it can be hard to get out of the summer relaxation and get back into the rigidity of timetables and rules. Both in terms of your stationery and sartorially, you need to get back on the horse and spend time getting yourself ready for the routines to begin again.
Part of that organization is planning your supplies! You’ll need a new set of clothes for the Fall so you can be on trend, a new bag for all your notebooks and stationery and a new Bricraft women’s wallet so that you can keep your ID and cards totally organized. Organization means being less stressed, less muddled up and more prepared for what each day brings for you. The total freedom of being in college can often make you lazy with your own timing. This ends up with you leaving things unfinished and then in a mad panic trying to be organized for the first day of classes, which just won’t get you off on the right foot. There are some fantastic ways that you can get your college life organized and get you motivated and raring to go, and we’ve put some of these together for you:
- Use The Library. Not just a place for study, the library has access to printers and computers that link to said printers. If you haven’t got the budget to afford a wall planner, it’s time to get creative and get one printed. Having a visual on hand of your syllabus for the semester can help you to know in an instant what books, work and binders you need for that day.
- Planners Matter. You may not need a journal to document all your feelings, but you do need a planner to document your workload! Keeping your planner with you at all times can help you stay organised, so that you’re not scrambling for paper to write down the date of the next formal!
- On Your Bike. While you’re shopping for college supplies, why not add a bicycle to the list? College campuses are huge and often, you can find yourself with little more than ten minutes between lectures. Getting your exercise into your day is hard enough in college, but if you have a bicycle on hand you can get across campus in half the time!
- Capsulate The Wardrobe. We mentioned being sartorially prepared for college. It’s wonderful to want to be totally on trend and have an outfit for every day, but it’s not practical in a place you have to share a dorm. When you’re shopping for your Fall wardrobe, stick to these capsule ideas and you’ll have enough to see you through while still being stylish.
There’s no excuse when it comes to college; you’ve got to be ready whether you want to be or not! Make it easier on yourself and use the tips above to start Freshman year fresh!
