The state of New York is mostly more well-known for New York City, and while that place can be an adventure in itself for a family with all the shopping opportunities and the endless things you can do, why not consider heading to a different part of the state and exploring Minnewaska State Park Preserve? With hiking and camping opportunities this place could prove to be the real family adventure vacation you were hoping for. Combining with a little retail therapy what more could be loved about this vacation idea?
Finally, if you still want to combine your adventure vacation with your love of beaches, then the state of Maryland is for you. How does a night under the stars camping by the beach sound? Heavenly?
