I was given this awesome opportunity to review the game AROUND THE WORLD and we love it! This is a game the family can play and enjoy. It reminds us of Trivial Pursuit but more educational questions. Some of the questions stumped my husband and I but after reading the answers we remembered. My 9 yr old got some of the questions but the 11 yr old did very well! We have played 4 times in the past week and had such an awesome time with it I almost forgot I had to write a review. If you are looking for a game that educates in a fun way about People, Places, Countries,, Geography and World Wonders than please this is a game for you! I highly recommend this game for Teachers because the classroom would have a blast answering these questions and think of the discussions you can have about the answers. We are taking a trip soon and the kids already told me this game is going with us.
Fun Trivia Game Meet Global Education
The origin of what would become Around the World™ began to evolve in 2002 through as a series of projects ranging from work in immigrant and refugee communities, to the facilitation of cross-cultural training, and the creation of a French immersion school for toddlers. In the midst of this process, Stacy made the discovery that there was a desperate need for cultural diversity training resources to support global awareness. Compelled by her discovery, she set out to work on a fun trivia game that would meet the need by immersing players in an educational experience, and enlighten them to cultural differences, customs, languages and world geography.
Finally, in 2005 her work came to fruition and Around the World™ was born! Cultural trivia was at its best! After years of asking questions, traveling, researching and teaching, she finally constructed a tool that could be utilized in the educational market by a wide spectrum of individuals and entities, including school age children, their parents, travelers, educational institutions, corporations, and governmental institutions.
Around the World™ is a revolutionary product, and is fast becoming one of the most essential and effect tools in the market for cultural education and global awareness.
