My daughter has wanted me to STRAIGHTEN her hair for so long. I was planning on taking her to a shop to get it done but when I was approved to review a Gurin Flat Iron, I decided I will straighten her hair myself. I was scared that I might burn her or myself but never did- not even close. I actually did a great job, well that’s what other people said. As you can see from the before picture her hair is pretty curly and this flat iron worked so wonderful on her hair. I did small sections and it took me about 1 1/2hrs to do her hair. Of course I did it the first day of school- she was all smiles. Her hair stayed straight pretty much a full 4 days then I had her wash it. I love how I can control the temperature. The only thing that I would change is where the on and off button is but not a big deal at all!
